About Ruth Elora
The Mayfair Poet
Ruth Elora — also known as The Mayfair Poet — is an award-winning British-Nigerian poet, speaker and workshop facilitator.
Her work explores identity, resilience, social justice and the power of storytelling. Ruth has performed at leading cultural venues including the Southbank Centre and Omnibus Theatre, as well as internationally across Europe and the United States.
Alongside her creative work, she has a professional background in communications, including roles at BAFTA and within agencies working with global brands such as Google. She currently works within higher education at Bayes Business School, bringing a unique perspective on the intersection of storytelling, leadership and communication.
